New Feature: Site Swap
Site Swap is a new Office 365 feature. This will be rolled out over organisations by starting with organisations with a max of 50 licenses. Admins will now have the ability swap the location of a SharePoint root site with another.
New Feature: Enhanced Filtering for Connectors
Another new Office 365 feature called Enhanced Filtering for Connectors. Exchange uses connectors to allow you to send and receive emails on the Exchange servers. An Enhanced filtering experience to allow you to filter emails based on the source of messages that are received over the connectors.
New Feature: Comments on non-Office Files in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business
A new office 365 feature is Comments on non-Office Files in SharePoint Online or OneDrive for business. This will help end users collaborate and communicate in context of documents like PDF's. OneDrive for Business users can open the details pane and leave a comment so that the next users to view this will be able to see them clearly.
New Feature: Outlook for Android updates for the Samsung ecosystem and beyond
There is a growing partnership with Samsung which includes deeper integration of outlook for Android. This will cause changes to both customers using Samsung devices and Android devices. Meaning that now Android will be installed automatically on the Samsung Galaxy Note10 devices. Outlook will also now support the S Pen, available on Samsung Note devices. Other features include the ability to hover over and preview emails, and take action such as tap to call email or text contacts and Accept.
Updated Feature: Feedback surveys settings in Microsoft Teams in PowerShell and system-initiated user feedback
With the new Teams feature Admins will have the ability to adjust feedback policies for notifications that prompt users by default. Teams have began collecting user feedback. This ability will allow admins to change the feedback policy so that users can disable the prompts. Users can change the notification to On or Off and can access this control by Settings > Privacy.
New Feature: Join teams via a code or link
A new Office 365 Teams feature is Join Teams via a code or link. There are two components to this new feature, Join via link and Join via code. Via link for public teams allow users to join by selecting the link, but private teams will allow users to join their team upon request. Via code generates a unique code which will allow users to join their team.
New Feature: Importing a schedule into Shifts using Excel
Another new Office 365 feature is importing a schedule into shifts using Excel. This will be available on an opt-in basis within the Teams Web and Desktop clients.
Bringing new Yammer Users into Active State
To improve the overall experience and to unblock customers currently migrating data we changing how users states are classified in Yammer. There is now an "active" default state for new users when you deploy Yammer.
